Drove to Lake Whatcom state park – 5 mile run dad and tam – tam in flip flops 2.5miles up 1000+ elevation and then back down.  Finished at 9:15pm / Mer/Miles hiked along water

7am left for Hurricane ridge.  

Hike Klahanne ridge out to first lookout but abandoned idea of longer hike

Visitor center burned down at top so did

Drove to Sol Duc Hot Springs loop hike 6 miles w/ ben and boys – mer stayed back

left cabin at 8am to arrive at Rialto at 9:40a

Rialto – tide pools – walk to north end at Hole in the Wall

Drove to Ho River / Rain Forest but traffic was backed up 6 miles – parking lot was full.  On the fly we figured out that there was a Bogachiel River Rain Forest hike just north so we took a gravel road out to it and had a lovely 4 mile loop in the rain forest and stopped along the river

Ben/Miles shopped at Fred Meyer, TJ, and PCC and also stopped at Sea Wolf for sourdough

Ben/Miles rode to top of lake washington – 24 miles

Left at 1pm for Boeing tour

dinner at Jebena Cafe Ethiopian

Pike Place market tour with Free Seattle Tours

tried many foods – Piroshky, Piroshky, Beecher’s cheese curds and mac and cheese, dumplings at Mee Sum Pastry, french pastries at Le Panier

stopped at Target for Tam pants

took monoraid to space needle

dinner at Marco and Ksenjas (with Kyle and Tiffany friends also there) – picked up fish from wild Salmon market again
